The Stockings were hung...

Scurrying around .... and around.... Our home is on our city's Historic Home Tour the evening of the 6th ! My mind is on overload ! I want it to bring visions of the past ..... So much to be done ! I made these stockings from vintage linens and collected treasures.... When the stockings are hung i will REJOICE. . . everything will be ready.... I have a long way to go........

A Thankful Heart....

May you all have a BLESSED Thanksgiving ! I so look forward to my time with my family.... Like most families we see each other far to little. Our loved ones are a gift from GOD , tell them how special they are ! GIVING THANKS is what it's all about.....

Sweet Snowmen...

I just love these darling snowmen that Linda Napier made for the open house. They are made of SUGAR ! So Sweet..... This would be such a great project for our kids and grand kids ! Lots of finger licking..... And Snowman KISSING.

Mill Towne Gourmet....

Road trip yesterday to Griffin Ga. We had a great time ! Went to the Antique Griffin....it was wonderful ! Found an old coke blackboard, At a GREAT price and a darling primitive child's desk, also some old flower frogs. We ate at a NEAT little place , Mill Towne Gourmet ! You have to go there, the food was unbelievable. Her oatmeal raisin cookies were to die for YUMMY ! Then on to Ms Wendy's in Brooks and to see Cindy at The Plum Tree in McDonough. The shops looked great , as always... i didn't come away empty handed !

More Monkeys....

Bev Norris and her Mom came by the shop.... She got so excited, she collects old sock monkeys ! Three more will be monkeying around with the rest of her collection... Bev has a booth at Lakewood 400.
