Hang on to it....

            I am so glad that old photos are still around. Last week I was able to purchase a lot of  old family photos.  No one knows who the people are any  more, their  identities  are lost to time. We live in a world that does not print pictures anymore.  Photos are a time capsule of our History.  Its a good reminder to help preserve our Heritage for future generations. Print those Pictures !

A Lavender Delight...

 Saturday was such a beautiful day ! Linda and I set up under a lovely dogwood tree ! We had sunshine and a wonderful breeze all day....it could not have been nicer. Lots of Lavender Lovers came to the Festival.  The gardens at Barrington Hall were so beautiful !  The Painted Fern...Jocelyn and Kevin had a Wonderful Booth , such a talented couple ! Thanks to all who made this a very SPECIAL day.

Stitching up a.....

 Finishing up my sewing for this Saturday's Lavender Festival. The Roswell Lavender Festival will be this Saturday June 8th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Historic Barrington Hall in Roswell Georgia. Hope we see you there.

Wonderful Wicker...

 This wonderful wicker bench just arrived. What a great bench for your porch or at the foot of a bed. It is missing the cross hatch on one arm and the front edge of the seat has a little repair. We do not see this type of bench often , it is truly wonderful . I can picture a Bride in her wedding dress sitting here. Place the bench in a field of daisys and it would be even more amazing. Perfect photo op.....

  Peachy....Such a pretty color ! We have lots of PEACHY goodies. I love living in the South especially  Georgia the Peach State. PEACHES are my favorite ! Lilburn's Farmers Market starts on Friday June 7th...looking forward to those PEACHES,   4:00 to 8:00 pm in the parking lot next to our walking trails.

Memorial Day...

  The Shop will be OPEN till 2:00 today...Come on by ! Happy Memorial Day...lets all remember that we only have our freedoms because of the brave men and women who believed in FREEDOM so much that they gave their lives. THANK YOU...

Do you see it ? This morning when we went to water it was there ...our first little green zebra tomato. The garden is growing !

Smitten by Serenbe...

 Sunday we went for a drive South of Atlanta to the Serenbe Community. It is so WONDERFUL ! What a great place to live. All the houses and cottages are so unique...no grass here...the plantings were amazing. Rosemary and blueberry bushes everywhere. Wish I had gotten more photos.

 We shopped the cute shops and had a wonderful dinner at their Farmhouse  Inn and restaurant . One of the Shops we went in was Greenhouse. A darling shop owned by Kenya Brantley. Great prices and such a fun mix of old and new. I will definitely be back to shop again. Even the bird houses were amazing.

Picking....

 Just in...this darling Day Bed. It is 5 feet long and 30 inches wide. Fits perfect at the end of a full size bed.

 This is my stash from an early morning picking. Just finished pricing and putting my new treasures out. A FUN morning.
