HE TALKS ?

Busy getting my home ready for Santa....Tree went up on Monday night...this year it is a Carolina Cedar...A gift from GOD...it cracked off in a wind storm at my friend Linda's . She already had one up so she gave it to us...I feel Blessed ! We have 5 furry friends who are so CURIOUS..They have been helping UN decorate it ! A challenge this year. I put out my Antique Santa's last night...this morning they were tumbled over, as I picked them up my favorite tall one started playing a tune ! SURPRISE ...I didn't know he did that ! My kitty's and I are both learning.... NO Antique ornaments on the tree this year ! I will post a picture when I get the tree decorated...before they UN decorate it again...

A HOOT...Turkey Day Weekend...

We had the most FUN ! Visited Friends Stu and Linda Davidson in South/North Carolina. On Friday we went to Asheville on a mystery tour ! Barrington Hall...Christmas Tour

We are so honored to have my Church collection on display at Barrington Hall in Roswell. The Historic Estate is featuring collections this year. Our shop Christmas Open House is this Friday evening ! 6:00pm to 9:00pm ... Hope You can join us... We are all SCURRYING about to create a Winter Wonderland . The shop will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday till 6:00PM to get ready ! And YES I will post lots of pictures !

Suprise Visitors....

What a DELIGHT...Pat of Refind Maison Jardin and her Crazy fun friends Charlotte and Margot came by today ! What a FUN group of girls...They made my Day ! Left with LOTS of treasures ! Come Again SOON...

Pick a Pocket...

I just LOVE it when an item is used unexpectedly ! Can you guess where these pockets came from ? You guessed it ! An old suitcase.... I would have loved to see that one , what fabulous fabric it had. Pockets filled with TREASURES...

I WANT THAT.....

We all came away with TREASURES ! Cheryl's porch sale was GREAT... Lots of treasures to be had. It drizzled all morning but that didn't dampen our spirits !

A Boo-Boo....

The Painted Fern is decked out for Halloween....Lots of darling signs ! Our cities Fall Festival was a great success , lots of Fun and shopping going on Saturday. It was so GOOD to see old friends, and see all the Crafts in the Park. Saturday is our monthly Garage sale, due to last months being rained out we will have two...the 17th and again on the 31st. You will be in for a treat on the 17th as Cheryl will be setting up with TREASURES out front...I AM EXCITED to see what She brings !

Something to CROW about......

Crows.... Crows are Collectors , they love things that glisten and shine ! A Crow,s nest holds bits and pieces of all sorts of interesting things...Sound familiar ? We could all be CROWS Feathering our Nests....

A road trip to Queen of Hearts in Buford.... This OVER THE TOP BOOTH greets you as you enter... It was put together by Mud-Pup a designer and dealer there... What A GREAT JOB ! We enjoyed our trip ! Stop over and see ....

Fall is for refreshing....

Re-doing lots (12) of booths in the shop ! Lots of work but so worth it. I love rearranging in themes ....Here are the new Vintage kitchen and Cottage bedroom booths... I want to move in... or maybe I already have ? Those of you who do this know it takes SOOOOO much time.

RAINING------

5 1/2" and COUNTING... We have too much ! That was the rain gauge from last night...It's STILL RAINING. Doing damage control at the shop this morning. Roof leaking....Water under building... Hugh off to get a pump to get water out from under building. Do we need to build an ARK ? Roads in our area have damage. Our street was closed this morning because of the flooding. ENOUGH ALREADY! Got any extra umbrellas? Or an extra sump pump?

Update: Weather service said we have had Ten more inches with more to come.

OK , Whats with my free counter ? Yesterday we had 31000 + viewers , today it's 12000 + viewers ? I like seeing how many people look at our blog....It keeps me going...Has this happened to you ? What can I do to change it back? This happened one time before... We had to set up a new counter...Any OPTIONS ?

Labor Day Bounty...

Her shop is in the building that lost it's roof....Please keep her in your prayers ! She opened her CUTE shop last month. It is so HEART BREAKING....All that hard work, She spent weeks getting it ready to open. Poured Her HEART into it..... I am SPEECHLESS....

Were not in Kansas.....

We had a BAD Storm here on Tuesday night...This is whats left of our neighbors roof ! Hugh was upstairs in his office, hearing hail outside he looked out the window to see the roof lift off the building across the street. It went 20 feet into the air and flew 100 feet to come down on the building 2 doors down.... UNBELIEVABLE
It POURED so much rain....I was in the back of the shop working on a booth and the windows were shaking, the wind HOWLING... I thought they would break but thank GOD they did not...We lost a large tree in our yard and my front porch was trashed... But We are grateful that there was not more damage ....
