What's Up....

  Our little Town is getting ready for fall...  Lilburn Daze is on October 12th

  Exciting things are happening at Antiques in Old Town ! A new two story porch is being added to our building... So excited ! Fun to watch the progress.          Halloween and Fall decor are in the shop now..come on by and see.

Pumpkin Man....

 Lilburn Community Garden is bursting with Scare Crows.....

  Pumpkin Man is guarding my morning glories  ! I could not bare to rip them all out. Guess my Fall crop will have to wait a while.

   I just love his happy face...don't think he will scare away any crows though. They may like sitting on him !

  This one is Jimi and Nancy's . She is SO CRAZY !

 Come on by the Gardens and see all these great scare crows... The Community Garden is judging them tomorrow. Can not believe it is October already... Lilburn Daze Art Festival is only two weeks away. Put October 12th on your calendar and come join the FUN !

 Worked on my lady Scare Crow on Sunday... I love her" Ralph " outfit . Stuffing my Scare Crow for the Lilburn Community Garden today...pictures to come soon. So Glad  it's FALL....my favorite season of the year.

Pulling it together...

On Sunday Hero and I Scraped and Painted the Shops front windows. Three down and one to go.  It always takes longer than you think it will.  I am loving the new colors. The weather was perfect for painting. We took a break and had Brunch at 1910 Public House. Brunch is served from 11:00 to 2:30 on Saturday and Sunday. YUM ! Come give it a try.....

Sunflower Cottage...

  Sunflowers are so cheerful...This week my friend Robin and I painted her shed door. What fun we had. This is our finished product...The last thing we did was add the sweet Sunflower Cottage Sign that Robin's friend Monica had painted for her. It is Fall Y'all...

A different kind of Chippy....

 Chippy is not wanted ! At least not this kind...Antiques in Old Town is getting a new look. Hero and I have been SCRAPING windows and doors , getting them ready .

  Whiskers has been watching....what's going on ?  Mom keeps changing things and whats with all these orange round things ? Just when Meow finds a great napping place it changes.

 Mom keeps running around with all these color samples...what's She doing ?

  Maybe if Meow cries loud enough they will let me help....Meows good at scratching.

 We are EXCITED for the Changes Coming... More news soon...

Morning Glory...

 Sharing my Morning Glories... My little garden plot has gone WILD ! The Morning Glories have taken over.

 Planning our plot for fall...winter planting. Our Community Garden is having a Scare Crow Contest...any ideas ?  Saturday is our City Garage Sale.  9:oo to 2:oo in the parking lot across from City Hall. Come on by and shop and have lunch at 1910 Public House. See you Saturday !

Picking Pumpkins...

 Betty and Linda have been picking pumpkins... Sweet little Pumpkins... Fall is arriving !

                     Lots of vintage paper and hand made cards are here !

Empty and Organize or...booking it !

   Hero...You want me to move what where ?  Day one...move everything out of the booth at the bottom of the ramp.

 Day 2... Empty all the book shelves and rearrange them in there new booth. Put books in order as to subject...easier said than done !

  Three days later... Welcome to the new Library  Booth !

 It only took three long days to move and rearrange. Now on to the next change !  Keep watching ...more to come !
