A true Make-Do... Whoever created these wonderful old hand made black walnut shell baskets and shelves WOW ! These were truly a labor of love. I have collected them over the years from many different places. Believe it or not they all have the same old wallpaper in the bottom , The SAME wallpaper ! The SAME creator ? Who would ever guess that they would all be united again ?

Tissue Roses...
Requests: How did you do that ? Making do is a creative outlet, a way to be unique while repurposeing things in a creative way. We love making treasures from unexpected objects. Take a piece of pattern tissue...the width and length will determine the size of your rose. Fold tissue in half...Folded edge up...start at one end and pinch-tuck and roll- continue-pinching - tucking and rolling the tissue until you have the size rose you want. Twist the bottom tightly to form the stem...secure. Your rose is ready to be embellished...paint the tips...add water color...mica or glitter...what ever your heart desires ! Clustered together, a great centerpiece-a swag of different sizes would be neat-the possibilities are endless... All right girls... MAKE ROSES... I would love to see what you create !
